At DolceVitaDog, we are committed to your satisfaction and the wellbeing of your four-legged companion. We understand that a product may sometimes not fully meet your expectations. That is why we offer a clear returns and exchange policy, in accordance with French consumer law.

1. Your right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.
2. How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision in an unambiguous manner within the 14-day period, using one of the following methods:

- Using the standard withdrawal form below
Simply returning the parcel without prior written notice, or refusing delivery, does not constitute a valid withdrawal request.

4. Returning the product
Once your withdrawal request has been notified, you have 14 days to return the product to the following address:

The product must be returned:
- In its original, undamaged packaging
- Unused, except for handling strictly necessary to assess its characteristics (e.g. briefly trying a harness on your dog)
- With a note indicating your order or invoice number, and the word "RETURN" or "EXCHANGE" (for example: "INVOICE NO. 2026-125 EXCHANGE SIZE S PURPLE")
Return postage is at your expense.
You remain responsible for the parcel until we have received it. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.
5. Depreciation of the product
In accordance with Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code, you may be held liable for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning. In such cases, the refund amount may be reduced proportionally.
6. Refund
We will refund you the full amount paid, including the initial delivery costs (up to the standard rate, excluding any additional costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method).
The refund will be made:
- Within a maximum of 14 days from the date we collect the item, or from the date you provide proof of dispatch (whichever comes first)
- Using the same payment method as the one used for your order, unless you expressly agree to a different method
7. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange a product (different size, different colour), follow the return procedure above and clearly indicate "EXCHANGE" along with the new reference you want. We will dispatch the new product after receiving and inspecting the returned item. The cost of re-shipping the new product is at your expense.
8. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following products:
- Food products (natural treats, supplements): for health and hygiene reasons, these cannot be returned or exchanged once the order has been delivered.
- Personalised products or items made to your specifications (custom-length leash, embroidery, engraving, etc.).
- Digital content (e-books, online video access) once execution has begun with your express agreement.
- Unsealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (used chew toys, bowls that have been used, etc.).
9. Defective or non-conforming products
If a product arrives defective or does not match your order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@dolcevitadog.com with photos attached. This procedure falls under the statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), which are separate from the right of withdrawal. In this case, return postage is at our expense.
10. Professional resellers
This returns policy applies to individual consumers. Professional resellers with a B2B account are governed by our specific Reseller Terms and Conditions, which apply to the exclusion of this document.
