The Mantrailing V is the reference tracking harness from the Swiss Grossenbacher workshop, handcrafted for mantrailing teams. At DolceVitaDog we systematically fit it with the back pulley: this is our version, built for long working sessions. And it has proven itself beyond training fields: we already equip dog units of the French Gendarmerie, Police Nationale and Alpine CRS.

Designed to let the dog work
Its V cut places traction on the sternum, never on the throat: breathing stays free even when the line stays taut for long minutes. The attachment point sits further back on the spine, shoulders remain fully clear, strides stay natural.
The back pulley, fitted as standard
On a trail, every line jolt is noise. The pulley slides and absorbs: traction spreads instead of snapping, the handler fades away, the dog stays in its nose. More comfort for the dog, less influence from you. It is the difference between following your dog and disturbing it.
Your colours, sewn in Switzerland
Thirteen fabrics, twenty-three border trims, black or grey straps: compose your harness right on this page, with photo swatches of the real webbing. The Colour chart tab shows every reference with its name. Each piece is then cut and sewn to order in the Grossenbacher workshop.
Made to measure, with full knowledge
Allow 4 to 6 weeks for making. A harness sewn in your colours cannot go back on the shelf: it is neither returned nor exchanged, and you confirm this when ordering. Check the size with the guide and write to us with any doubt, we are happy to confirm before production starts. Payment in 2, 3 or 4 instalments available.
